When graphic artist Miraphora Mina was briefed on creating the Time-Turner, she knew she wanted the piece to be inconspicuous but also have an element that moved in it. In addition to clocks and watches, Mina investigated astrological instruments as a source of inspiration. “I looked at astrolabes and what was nice about them was that they were flat instruments, which to me felt discrete,” She recalls.
